Commencement Ceremony
The Commencement ceremony for the Class of 2023 was held Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the James David Ross Family Recreation Center. We welcomed all of those who wanted to celebrate our 2023 Graduates, no tickets were required for this event.
Time: 10:00 a.m. | Doors will open at 8 a.m.

1781 Afternoon Tea
Immediately following commencement everyone was invited to the Commons for the 1781 Afternoon Tea. This was a time to celebrate with your classmates, reminisce with faculty and staff, and capture photos with family and friends who gathered for this day of celebration.
Baccalaureate - Friday May 19, 2023
Baccalaureate Service
The Baccalaureate service for the Class of 2023 was held Friday, May 19, 2023 at the Church of the Covenant.
Time: 5:30 p.m.

Senior Champagne Toast
John and Kelly Knapp hosted all 2023 graduates at the annual Senior Champagne Toast celebration Friday, May 19. Students followed the lighted path to Burnett Lawn for hor d'oeuvres, champagne, and a toast to their future. They received a commemorative champagne flute and a special gift.
Parent and Family Reception
A special Parent and Family Reception was held to thank you for the many ways you have supported your student during their time at W&J. This was immediately following the Baccalaureate Service at the Technology center, parents and family members of our 2023 graduates were invited to join together in celebration.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS
Commencement Ceremony - Saturday, May 20, 2023
Graduates will line up at Old Main and should arrive no later than 8:30 a.m. where they will receive their room assignment. The forecast is currently calling for rain during commencement; we are not prepared to change the meeting location, processional, or recessional plans at this time. We do recommend that students plan accordingly by bringing an umbrella to help protect themselves should we be faced with light rain.
Baccalaureate Service - Friday, May 19, 2023
Graduates should arrive at Old Main no later than 4:45 p.m. a class photo will take place at 5:00 p.m. After the class photo graduates will line up inside of Old Main for the processional.
Cap and Gown Distribution at the W&J College Campus Store
Cap and gown pick up will be Wednesday, May 10 through Saturday, May, 20. Campus Store hours are Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
Commencement weekend hours for pick up will be 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Friday, May 19 and 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m., Saturday, May 20. The campus store will remain open until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 20.

Use the interactive map to the right for turn-by-turn directions to the appropriate parking lots.
General Parking: We invite guests to utilize the Grant Lot and the lower level of the Church of the Covenant's parking lot. W&J will be provide convenient shuttle service from the Grant Lot.
Handicap Parking: Please use the Lincoln Lot for handicap access.
Photography and Videography
A professional photographer was at the ceremony to take a photograph of each graduate receiving their diploma. Proofs of these photos are available HERE in the weeks following commencement. Photographs are available for purchase.
